Outpatient Clinic

The Outpatient Counseling Center is a community-based clinic designed to meet the needs of the people of Langlade County. At the clinic, counselors work with people with a variety of issues and problems. Counseling may take place individually, in groups or with a person’s family or spouse. When children are involved, the parents and school are also included to provide the most comprehensive service possible. All information and services are confidential. No information is shared unless the client gives permission to release information.

Staff

The Counseling Center staff is made up of:

  • Two psychiatrists
  • One psychologist
  • Five mental health counselors
  • Two drug and alcohol counselors
  • Two registered nurses
  • Intake and registration staff
  • Clerical staff and director

Hours

The Clinic’s daily business hours are from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. We also have a 24-hour emergency service telephone line, which is reached by calling our regular number after hours (715-623-2394).

Making an Appointment

Anyone interested in setting up an appointment for counseling can call (715) 623-2394 and ask for the Intake person. This person will schedule an appointment for you, explain what you will need to bring with you, and send any forms you will need to fill out before the appointment.

Payment for Services

The Counseling Center accepts insurance, medical assistance, Medicare, and private payment for services. When these are not available, payments are based on a person’s income and number of dependents in the family. We have a full-time staff person who can assist the client in developing a payment plan which is workable for the client.
