Congratulations to Connie Gliniecki

Connie Gliniecki, Director of Nursing at Mount View Care Center, has been selected to become a mentor for the INTERACT program. INTERACT (Interventions to Reduce Acute Care Transfers) is a quality improvement program that focuses on the management of acute change in resident condition. It is designed to improve the early identification, assessment, documentation, and communication about changes in the status of residents in skilled nursing facilities. The training will include clinical and educational tools and strategies for use in every day practice in long-term care facilities.

Connie will complete training at the INTERACT Institute in Boca Raton, Florida, on January 8-11, 2013. Only 100 participants from throughout the country were chosen!
