Security Notice: NCHC Wausau Campus 10-24-19

Earlier in the evening of October 24, 2019, the NCHC Wausau Campus took security precautions due to a suspicious individual who presented at the Campus. Our Wausau Police Department partners did a sweep of the premises and inside the building. Police confirmed that the individual is no longer on the premises or within the building and the building has been secured.

Misinformation was posted to social media by a community member which included incorrect statements about a “man with a gun.” To ensure the safety of our staff and patients, additional security officers are stationed at the NCHC Wausau Campus. We will continue to work closely with Wausau Police Department on any report of suspicious activity.
