Counseling & Therapy
Proper treatment for substance abuse and addiction is key in the recovery process. Treatment may incorporate counseling, training and educational services with a variety of treatment approaches and techniques. The length of each person’s treatment is flexible and based on their need and rate of progress. North Central Health Care has developed several levels of programming to best meet the individual needs of persons in treatment. Individual Counseling
Individual counseling is an effective collaborative approach between a client and their counselor. To assist in identifying problems, exploring feelings, working through challenges, and setting goals, clients will participate in individual sessions where they and a counselor work toward promoting personal strength through interpersonal interaction.
Group Counseling
Individuals struggling with substance abuse and addiction need a support network to help them succeed. Group counseling is a unique experience for most people because counselors and group members work hard to make it a safe and confidential place to explore relationships. Through the sharing process, members develop a level of trust that makes it possible to be honest and open with each other.
Substance Abuse – Intensive Outpatient Program
