Helping You Get the Care You Need

North Central Health Care can help individuals convicted of an OWI offense determine what level of outpatient addiction care is needed and what treatment would best suit their needs. What is an OWI Assessment?

Wisconsin law states that any driver who has been convicted of an OWI (operating while intoxicated) offense must receive an OWI Assessment. You must contact a state-approved assessment facility within 72 hours of your conviction. During the assessment, a substance use professional will develop a driver safety plan based on the findings. The final report is submitted to the Department of Transportation (DOT).
