NCHC gratefully accepts a diverse array of non-monetary donations, each contributing to our Mission and Vision of enriching and fulfilling lives of those we serve. From goods and services to time and expertise, every contribution embodies the spirit of generosity that drives our organization forward. We deeply appreciate the invaluable support from our community, recognizing that each donation, regardless of form, represents a shared commitment to fostering positive change and empowering individuals to thrive.

Donations of New & Used Clothing

NCHC accepts donations of gently used men's, women's, and children's:

  • clothing
  • shoes
  • men's and women's swimsuits
  • new socks and underwear
  • winter outerwear
  • boots
  • hats and gloves

These items are laundered when they arrive and are made available at no cost to residents, patients, and clients at North Central Health Care through our Fashion Boutique closet located on the Wausau Campus. Residents, patients, and clients are allowed a dignified shopping experience in our Fashion Boutique where they are allowed to try items on and find the best style and fit for them.

Mount View Care Center in Wausau also has some specific items that are frequently in need. View the MVCC Donation Request list.

NCHC also accepts donations of new and unused toiletries such as soaps, deodorants, hair and body care products.

Donations of New and Used Home Goods, Crafts, & Games

NCHC also accepts a variety of home goods, crafts, and games including:

  • books and magazines (recent)
  • toiletries and self care items (soaps, deodorant, hair products, shaving supplies, hair care supplies, etc.)
  • games
  • puzzles
  • art and crafts supplies (paint brushes, paint, canvas, craft kits)
  • furniture*
  • beds*
  • lamps*
  • housewares*
  • cookware*

We Appreciate Your Donation!

NCHC frequently has individuals and families in need of a variety of items and your donation can go a long way to helping those we serve. If NCHC cannot accept your donation, we can refer you to a local partner who will be able to accept the donation.

Donation Drop Off

Our Volunteer Services office is located at 2400 Marshall Street, Suite B at the front entrance of Mount View Care Center in Wausau. We gladly accept donations Monday - Friday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Weekends from 10 am to 6 pm.
