North Central Health Care offers a state-certified outpatient clinic that provides a variety of outpatient mental health and substance use services, including counseling and therapy to children and adolescents in a school setting.
Each child’s treatment and recovery is unique to their situation. North Central Health Care utilizes a variety of treatment modalities available for a variety of diverse situations. Care is delivered by a professional, experienced team of providers who specialize in care for children and adolescents.

Mental health care through Counseling In Schools provides care and treatment in a manner that is most appropriate for each child’s individual situation.
Program Goals
- Provide individual mental health services to children and adolescents in a school setting
- Reduce barriers for treatment by reducing time students/parents miss from classes or work due to travel to appointments
- Increase accessibility for appointments
- Provide options for appointments at school or NCHC Outpatient Services
Confidential and Professional
All information discussed with our licensed professional counselors and therapists is confidential and will not be shared with the school district, regardless of appointment location.
All scheduling, appointments and coverage is handled directly through the North Central Health Care Outpatient Services. Parents are responsible for child’s enrollment.
North Central Health Care therapists will travel to various school districts for appointments. They will meet in a selected location within the school that protects each child’s right to privacy while providing a comfortable healing environment. NCHC currently offers services in the following School Districts:
- DC Everest Senior High – Grades 10-12
- Mosinee Elementary, Middle and High School – Grades K-12

Packets are made available at each school location that include informational brochures, provider information, rights and responsibilities information as well as enrollment instructions and contact information.
You may also download forms below, complete and return to your school's guidance counselor for coordination and enrollment completion.
